For higher-risk events—football, basketball, volleyball, rock climbing, and track and field—administrative staff will assist in purchasing additional accident insurance.

2. Safety management.Associations should confirm participants' physical condition before competitions to ensure safety. During the events, if a student is injured or feels unwell, the following procedures apply:

(2)Escalated reporting. The individual should first report the injury and circumstances to their supervising teacher and association. The association then reports to the Graduate Student Union Sports Department, which in turn reports to the next-level authority in accordance with procedures.

(3)Follow-up handling.On-site personnel should help maintain order and truthfully recount the incident. The association shall submit a written report to the Sports Department and the School, and contact the insurance company to process the claim.

Note:Students who conceal a history of cardiac or cerebral conditions, asthma, epilepsy, or other congenital conditions unsuitable for outdoor or athletic activity shall bear sole responsibility for any safety incidents arising from such concealment.

3. Civilized participation and spectatorship. All athletes and spectators should act with civility and goodwill, respect opponents, referees, and event staff, view decisions rationally, and help maintain order on the field. Verbal abuse of referees, verbal provocation, physical altercations, fighting, and other uncivilized behavior are strictly prohibited. Depending on severity, referees may issue a warning or eject the offender outright, keep a record of the incident, and promptly report it to the association, the relevant schools, and the Sports Department.
